Details:
• The top finisher from the Ginn OPEN Got Game Challenge will earn an exemption into the 2009 Ginn OPEN at Ginn Reunion Resort, April 13-19. The top two amateur finishers, who did not earn the top position, will receive exemptions into the LPGA Monday Qualifier, April 13.
• Any amateur that earns a spot into the 2009 Ginn OPEN or the LPGA Monday Qualifier must provide verification of a USGA Handicap Index of 2.0 or lower to the Ginn OPEN no later than one hour after play is completed on December 22, 2008. Failure to do so will forfeit your exemption or qualifying spot. (Handicap
Verification Form to be provided.)
• A two day, 36 hole stroke play event. The challenge will take place on Tom Watson’s Signature Independence Course.
• A tie will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
• Applications due December 12, 2008

Second-Annual Ginn Open Got Game Challenge Allows Female Golfers Chance to Play an LPGA Tournament

REUNION, Fla., Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 – Female golfers across the country once again will have the opportunity to earn their way into an LPGA tournament. The second-annual Ginn Open Got Game Challenge, which is open to all female professional and amateur golfers, will take place Dec. 21-22, 2008 at the Ginn Reunion Resort in Reunion, Fla. (www.ReunionResort.com).

“The Ginn Open is once again very proud to have the opportunity to extend a playing spot in our tournament to one of the best female golfers in the country,” said Linda Chen, Ginn Open tournament director. “The Ginn Open Got Game Challenge will be an exciting competition and a way for golf fans to see the stars of tomorrow.”

This opportunity gives players at every level the chance to experience first hand what it takes to compete on the LPGA.
